“Amar Garpa” began to be cooked in the Little Horse neighborhood by some members of the band on one of those many rattle nights and just before breaking into a party in a sorority house in Constitution with a large amount of booze.
The confusing episodes of that night, which include fights with a Reptar and wrecked longboards, added to recently loveless feelings inspired the lyrics of this song, which would be finished some months later by Pelupa in his home studio, and redirecting it towards a more experimental style, distant from the initial version.
In every listening, this song reminds us that despite all the bad things that are happening in your life now, there's always a reason to celebrate, because after all, in a way or another, love will find you in the end, it always does.
