Before having a totally versatile style, Video Bob flirted with the intention of becoming the Argentine Mr. Bungle, intention that was obviously discarded after the first practices of the band.
Ben Affleck is the hangover of this first goal. The song was born from a Doom style Riff, adding later some funk rhythms and protest lyrics, and after avoiding stage fright with the presence of shells from the band's keyboardist, it ended up being the first finished song of the band, and finally recording it with a cheap computer mixing console in a rehearsal space in the Flowers neighborhood, where the complete band had their first musical encounters.
Nowadays, the band still follows the ideology of hating the stupid box so it keeps playing this song, because the tricks are never lost.
